The aftermarket wheels with slots (i.e. Cragar S/S) do not accept conical seat lugs. The spacers included with them allow 360 degrees of contact with the face of the spacer, and the longer shank of the lug that goes below the spacer keeps the wheel centered relative to the bolt circle. The GTO wheels cannot be machined to properly fit a car with 5x4.75 bolt pattern. By "properly" I mean in a manner which is safe and structurally sound.
