I didn't feel like looking it up on ls1 on my BB. I'm just glad it isn't that street sweeper hummer pan brewer sells as a conversion pan - ground clearance be damned! I'll admit I have not looked at that particular vette pan, I know the earlier ones have wings that interfere with everything.

By all accounts, the f-body one fits 2nd gens w/o modification (unlike 1st gens that need to be notched). I thought DSE even calls for a f-body pan for their frame (but I'd have to look). I figure there is a reason I don't hear about people useing vette pans (in f-bodies, at least). Thus the 'why complicate it' comment.

that extra ~2" forward in the deep part means you might need to notch it, no? Plus it is a bit deeper at the front of the pan - I'm not sure how far back the engine can sit.
