Yes, a tr224 with stock 243's would be an amazing street setup,and a very budget minded build. Considering the characteristics of tr lobes are inbetween XE-R and XE, and have less lift, it is easier on the valvetrain; cheaper and more reliable. tr224 with 5.3l heads would be more effective for the extra buck

I was more interested in a discussion/opinions of streetable cams than help to piece together a build. I still need a converter and tune before I line up my cam build unless I do it all at once. Right now Im looking at looking at the 5.3L heads and either a 228r or PredZ spec cam (230/230 .612 .588 on a 111). The 228r would have better manners, but the later will have more power under the curve
