I prefer driving around a road course, been to a few track days with limited instruction and I have done a ton of autocrosses and stuff.
Road racing is getting more of a draw now that we don't have to drive as far to get to a road course. Drag racing on the other hand, living in Trenton I can get to 5 tracks in under an hour and a half. Most people get into the form of motorsports they have the most access to and in the northeast, that is drag racing.
