You kinda did the hard work for me. Your father is the owner of the car, not you. Insurance is in his name too. You only paid for it, paying for something does not imply ownership. When the car is actually in your name then it will be YOUR car. So for now your dad owns a 12 second car.
Next time before you try to show off, make sure you have something to show off. Not just blab around.
