I wanted low compression for a future turbo charger setup.

You mean bushed or pressed rods? Their bushed and the pistons will be free floating with wrist pins.
If I go low compression which im starting to think differently I would go flat top.

Thinking about it even if I want to turbo it one day it would be a weekend tops to take the motor out and replace it with low compression pistons when im ready, so it might be better to get the most power out of it now.
