Yea, I understand the principle behind that, but from what I've seen the cars with a decent amount of torque don't seem to be affected much off the line, and almost always see an improvement in the top half of the track.

I think the billet steel type flywheels are a good compromise though....lighter than stock, but not quite as balls-to-the-wall as the aluminum ones.

Either way, I don't think the OP is much of a dragstrip junky, so it shouldn't impact him.
