yeah but you changed brands of oil at the same time as changing brands of filter. so how do you know which was the cause of your problem? could just have easily been the oil.
the tapping could still be there but the quality amsoil oil is reducing it to the point you cant hear it........who knows

I was running pennzoil platinum w/ the fram...its one of the best oils out...and because it didnt start doing it until after the oil change....the engine only had a few hundred miles on it after it was put back together...in which all parts were checked in doing so. Im not going to continue to argue the point...Ive only owned 5 4th gens and have no clue
