go with you, not the customer standing in front of you who probably has 20 times your experience with cars. no, just ignore that and ask him, with the utmost control over your voice so it doesn't crack and creak in the middle of a sentence again, what year, make and model car this is for... in that order, please, so i don't get confused. and, if you are thinking like that, then you know your car is in the computer as a 1989 pontiac firebird, trans am with the 305 motor (it's a manual transmission and they didn't come from the factory with the 350 and a manual). but don't tell him any of that, as it might be too much for his pea-brain to think about...
