Alex on a third gen with c5 y2k wheels the widest tire you can use is 275(massaging the fender and cutting off the bumpstop) any bigger any you start getting into tubbing, and MT makes 265 or 295 no inbetween for an 18 from what iv seen.

If I go down to a wide 16" wheel I can easily run 295 maybe even 305s but I cant afford an extra set of wheels for the car just yet...a pair of 265 et streets will be fun until next season when a WHOLE new round of parts get ordered up.
