Of course you have a use for it.
Let's say you wanna get some target practice, but driving the 500meters to the range is way too much of a PITA to bother. Just sit back where you are and lob shots from 1500meters and you will still be able to prove to the Sarg that you hit the target if he asks.
It's just that simple. lol
I would suck at having that stuff around, I would be looking for someone/thing to shoot just to see what happens. lol
