If you use 3M make sure it's the Super77.....the other stuff will fall off. A hardtop headliner is cake compared to a t-top one so you should be fine. I'd suggest buying headliner material from Hawks or Year One that has the foam backing. Some fabric stores actually carry it as well. This will hold up better and less chances of the glue bleeding through if you put it on too wet.
