First off, that should be the new C7 when it debuts, secondly, if the government wasent watching GM's spendign so hard, GM might of continued to persue this car since most cases R&D returns the financial spendidures you put out. Alot of auto companies file cars such as this as part of R&D, weither its testing a new brake system, a new composite, or even things that would never be found on a car, but said just so it could be filed under R&D. Thats how you see Ferrari spend (before new rules were sanctioned) upwards of $300 million a season, you damn well know they dont make that much ad be able to blow it on one racing season.
I say build it, and say its to rally the world to let them know American cars are reliable, and competative. Build it, and let me drive it, I'll let GM know if it's competative
