I run a ron davis, but my situation is prob no help (alcohol drag engine) however, the fan moves a LOT of air. Enough to cool the trans cooler off thru the radiator, and my trans runs extremely hot. What we end up doing is unplugging the water pump and leaving the fan on between runs because the water will get too cool if the pump stays running.
