Stock bore? With a stock bore and an .029 head gasket with the vortecs I get ~9.3 to 1. With the .015 I get ~9.6 to 1. Run it Bill. It'll be a good running small block IMO.

Edit: I see that the bore is .020 over. Makes it only slightly higher but still in the 9.3 and 9.6 range.
