the gears stripping is what causes the motor to act crazy when you hit the key fob or turn off your headlights. Usually will make a grinding ray gun sound for a few seconds turning the lights off. And when you hit the fob, the lights go up a little, back down and grind.
You can replace the whole motor with new or from a junkyard Or, just pop the cover off, flip the gear 180* around and epoxy it back together and you will be good for awhile. |
