Well, the Nova and Camaro share as much as the Commodore and Camaro do.
Camaro's suspension parts are much larger, to handle the added stress that they knew the car would be put through, not to mention the longer dash/axle ratio. Tie rods, strut rods, ball joints, everything is bigger on the Camaro. But is swappable to the G8/Commodore.
While the Camaro and Commodore share a similar platform, neither car could be made in the other's factory.
