I had the GMMG when I had stock manifolds and it was not bad. With headers it gets loud. SLP Loudmouth I gets too loud and sounds even worse with headers and no cats. Loudmouth II isn't as bad because it has a muffler vs resonator. I had the Jardine cat-back on my car and it sounded good and was quiet on the highway but it wouldn't fit around the trailer hitch so I switched to a Random Tech cat-back. It sounds good, nice rumble at idle, quiet while cruising but it's a straight through muffler so it opens up loud at WOT. If you're interested, I have an SLP y-pipe for $50 but it's for the 2000-02 cars and you might need an extra piece for the 98-99 since they had a different cat layout.
im runnin SLP Loudmouth with Hooker longtube headers and ORY on a LS1.....its amazingly obnoxious mainly cause 3" straight pipe is stupid
