The skip shift plugs into the driver side of the transmission (CAGS). The plug harness should have two wires going to it. The skip shift is basically just a resistor that is plugged into the harness and bypasses the tranny plug. The cheap fix is to just get the resistor and jam it into the plug leads if it needs replaced.
