Congrats to her!!
the people of their generation that have lived to be that old were able to do so because their food wasn't tainted with hormones and crazy fertilizers. Their meat and produce was grown locally, nearly "organic" without being labeled so, and their fertilizers were natural not chemical. I'm afraid of what big business, low profit margin/high volumes will do to the health of our generation. Put that on top of preservatives, and quick fixes for everything (think microwave dinners with low quality meat and plastic that permeates the food) We're supposed to be a much more "educated" and "technological" generation now, but how all that and crooked corporations are going to impact our health remains to be seen.
