The actuation of the multiple valves is by forked rockers whose motion is transmitted by pushrods from the stock location camshaft. Rockers are shaft-mounted. Roller-type lifters are recommended to take maximum advantage of the higher volumetric efficiency and higher RPM range available with Arao Performance 32-valve Heads. A flat tappet cam with valve springs for this wider range will have a limited life.
