An engine doesnt change whether or not they were made on the same production line with the same frame. Ever heard of

So if you ordered one with a chevy engine it was a chevy because it had a chevy engine in it? or if I put a chevy engine in a fox body it is magically a chevy?
They have always been a Camaro, sorry to burst your bubble there. And BTW I am a Pontiac guy but I own two Camaros
