It took 2 hours 45 minutes to get home from the beach! I left Harvey Cedars a little after 4 thinking it was early enough to get home and wash the salt off the car.
Rt 72 was bumper to bumper, I could see Rt 9 wasn't even moving. I got to 539 and went about a mile before it backed up!
That had to be about 5-6 miles that normally takes 10 minutes and took 45 minutes. Note to self, never, ever try to leave the beach on Labor Day Monday again!
Car is washed though.
