put a shirt or some type of porous fabric over the bottom of the cartridge, and blow in the bottom. the shirt will catch the dust that comes out....just blowing into it and shoving it into the system only shoves more dust inside.
or when inserting the tape, kinda bang it against the front of the system when pushing down the cradle...works like a charm
