It bolts up two places, I guess three if you count the frame rails separately but it mounts low to the frame rails via the provided brackets and mounts high to the bolt you see on the top of the bumper under the grill a few inches in from the drivers side headlight. It mounts solid, grabbing the guard and shaking it will shake the whole truck. I got it for two reasons; one hoping it would protect the front end if I clocked a deer and two looks
Like I said if no one buys in a week or two I'll get you some better pictures of the guard but I've got a few bites from craigslist so hopefully I can dish it this week.
And yes, you will have to trim the little air dame lip at the bottom. I first put it on and left the air dam off but it looked like something was missing so I trimmed it and put it back on.
