Is it me.. or are drivers in NJ getting worse!? The only accident I've been in since I got my license til this year was after H/S one day when there were in a huge traffic jam right outside of the school because there were 2 accidents ahead of us due to a light rain just starting. I was waiting for about 30-60 seconds when I see a van coming from afar.. Soon after I looked again and it was REALLY close and still moving at 60+ MPH. I dipped into my seat to keep my neck from flying back over my 3rd gen firebird's headrest.. BAM! hit me and sent me into my buddy's camaro in front of me.. I went from that accident in '04 til this year when I got my GTO without an accident until some a--hole decided to merge into my lane while I was next to him.
Since then I have had 4 close calls with people merging into my lane. I can't believe how badly people drive now.. it's only been 5 years.
