Because as I said before, it was supposed to celebrate their F1 return and first win...but that win never happened. thats why the V10 screams, it's to replicate a Formula 1 note, thats why it was debuted as an endurance racer instead of a production car turned into endurance racecar, they wanted to show it has race car roots....
When I went to Monteray two years ago, they had it's concept vehicle out there in it's polished aluminum body, and was dead sexy, but the $400,000 was not mentioned, it was actually suppposed to be around $250,000 when they were planning on making it.
