You are as bad as Charlie, if you can't see when a pitcher or batter is not performing but you want to leave him, you're not going to win. You didn't watch the Phils all year so you have no idea when they are not performing. It's the World Series and the end of the season. If you can't do the job, you should be sitting. Hamels looked like crap the last 2 months, Lidge sucked all season, Johnny Damon slaps it to left field when he has 2 strikes on him, yet the left fielder is playing deep every time! Very poorly managed. Obviously he can't bat for Howard, but his stats actually match his season vs lefties so there is no surprise he struggled. And how many times were the Phils swinging away with runners on base and a 3-1 count? But I honestly didn't think they would repeat since it's almost impossible as an NL team. They had a great year despite their leadership! If they keep the core players, they will be even better next year.
