I wouldn't do it. Buying a project will be a mess. They usually get sold because the owner doesn't feel like doing the work. I would rather have a nice running mustang with a 5 speed than a non-running LS car. Only case I would buy a roller is a race car and only in certain circumstances. If you buy that LS car I guarantee you'll have to deal with half-assed work. Yes it would be more to build it, but at least you would know what you have.
