Reminds me of last month when me and my co-workers were offered a "hefty" reward to dig through a load of garbage to look for a black luggage bag. Apparently, the young woman just got back from vacation and forgot to take her $20,000 engagement ring out of a small zipper compartment in the bag. She wasn't so lucky, because she called and offered that "hefty" reward 3 days after we did that route. We told her "it's prolly 20 feet deep in crap in a pennsylvania landfill". Felt so bad lol.

Also, just before dumping our 15 ton load of garbage about 3 years ago, a guy met us up at the dump, wrapped off his address and asked if we picked up his house garbage. We said yea, and he said "I threw my $15,000 rolex out, it's in a white kitchen bag..." and my driver immediately holds his finger up and kindly said "Hold on one moment please..." ... He opens up the tailgate of the garbage truck, dumps the load, and as he was doing that, the guy looked like he was slowly shatting his pants cuz 90% of the entire load was white kitchen bags
