yeah and with the 5.0's doing solid 12s will probably dip a bit deeper, but will still out perform the camaro on its worse day. iirc the new base GT stang gets all the benefits of the 2010 track pack stock.
my whole argument is that when the competitors base model car (in class) is close to the performance of your top of the line model (once again in class....comparing a zr1 to a mustang is way off

) then you need to revise a bit. adding a higher performance model (z28) helps gm compete with the gt500 but theyre still lacking in the lower models. only thing i can see that will help is to price the z28 slightly above the current 2ss and bring the 2ss under the highest priced GT stang.
