It is possible to buy a spreadbore to squarebore adapter for a carb, assuming you mean going from Q-jet to square bore. Pep boys sells it.
Alot of guys may disagree, but if all you are looking to do is upgrade to a four barrel carb, I would buy an edelbrock performer intake manifold, ( you can probably find one used for like 50 bucks) and use a performer 1406 carb. (600cfm.) I had this setup on a 305 chevy. It ran great with no issues and I got away with no adjustments whatesoever. The standard holley 600cfm carb you can buy at pep boys would also be a great choice for an otherwise stock 307.
