I said it was a bit of a stretch.
Nasty said that domestic oil should be stockpiled here in America.
I think there is a general idea that OSD would drop prices everywhere, and that if its done off the coast of the US, that it will drive costs down here at home.
Maybe not directly with you gents, but there are a lot of people that think that OSD would drop everything below a dollar.
There was no oil shortage several years ago when Katrina hit the Gulf. Its not like we were scraping the bottom of the barrel, no pun intended, for oil. There was plenty out there, just prices driven higher by speculation.
None of it had anything to do with the lack of oil.
