The nitrous... is a sad sad story of typical my car failing. Main hot lead for noids was not hooked up, then got the noids clicking and the fuel line off the fuel noid was loose as hell. Got it all tightened up, and rigged off the purge button to activate... The main power lead for the noids was coming off the hot for the cutout, so that fuse blew halfway down the track..
It was funny though, Vin and I both redlighted so bad that last race we had, I just nailed it and hit the button... blew through 1st and 2nd with a 2.4 or 2.5 60' ... I had fun, work needs to be done now, and maybe I will head back in a few weeks.

Sounds like a good line lock and some better wiring are in order. Sounds like quite the clusterf*&^ of wiring you had going there.
I would suggest if you have a way to control the system via RPM to set it higher than lower to give the car a chance to hook-up. You can bring the activation RPM down once you get a feel for how the car is hooking.
