The bottom line is that He was one of the most fear'd players in the NHL during his prime if not the most fear'd. Just like how Jim Brown was,Shaq was, and how Randy Johnson was. He was fear'd for the way he hit and for what he could do with the puck. He was a household name that pretty much everyone knew. The 3 big offensive players in the NHL back then that I think of were Lindros, Federov, and Jagar.

lol you compared lindros to jim brown and shaq???? really?? even i wouldnt go that far.
id say lindros had more of a Daunte Culpepper or Steve Mcnair type of career. did good a few years, injuries persisted and never quite got over the hump.
shaq has a handful of rings to prove his dominance.
