Like I said the major difference between being in a car club and a offroad club is that racing is a competitive sport, wheeling isnt when your talking about a casual situation. Wheeling isnt everyman for himself. Your suppose to help each other, get everyone down the trail and have fun together and thats what makes your little Jeep 4x4 club stupid regarding brand loyalty in comparison to say NJFBOA or honda owners or mustang group or whatever.
You know, you had me until "what makes your little Jeep 4x4 club stupid." Our "stupid little Jeep club" has over 130 active members (Not including the forum guests). While we only wheel with each other during official club runs, that doesn't mean we won't stop to help someone who is stuck or broke regardless of what they're driving.

As I said, I admit freely that I know guys who will talk about the Jeep being the greatest off road vehicle bar none, but I know way more that are gearheads at heart and can appreciate anything that someone puts work into. I also know plenty of people who will talk about their Corvettes, or Hondas, or Dodge Chargers or whatever else as if it's the end all be all of automotive perfection. It's not unique to Jeeps.

Your attitude towards wheeling is spot on, but did someone with a Jeep do something horrible to you when you were a child or something?
