Sounds awesome. If I had the cash to spend over $70k for a Z06, I would definitely plop down another $5800 to fly out to Wixom and build my own LS7.

Basic ideas about the program, some outlined above already:

You get to pick which day you do the assembly from a 2 week period GM gives you, usually approximately 1 month after the order date.

You do a large part of the assembly work, with the GM tech right there helping

After it's built, the tech attaches the placard with the builder info, and sends it off to be dyno tested.

GM documents the process, and gives you a flash drive with pics (and video?)

Warranty is unchanged - still 5 years / 100k miles
