valid, yes. legal? not so much. you don't want this kid learning his lesson from this and then using the exact same tactics against you...

and, the lamest statement i have heard to date: "that since I didnt ask for insurance, I was at fault for the damage." people are constantly and consistently trying to offload responsibility on who ever they think will take it. it is not the buyer's responsibility to ask for insurance. the seller offers it. if the buyer doesn't want to pay, sometimes i do it anyway just to avoid the hassle of things like this thread - and it all comes down to not wanting to pay an extra $0.50. ****ing kids.
