You're right about your other point. For a car that got so much buzz and now a ton of factory support I'd just like to see a bit of advertisement that's all....getting tired of seeing the damn Mustang commercials lol

Camaro has no incentives or any special pricing. Most of GM's new cars have nothing on the hood, and they are moving very well.

All those emotions are stirred and then get translated to the Challenger...emotions that Americans haven't felt for American cars in a long time.

That is a big stretch. Rockets and Corvette, thats cool. But having George Washington drive into battle in a Challenger...the only emotion it spurs in me is humor.
A car build by a division who is owned by an Italian company, who builds the cars in Canada...dont feel a lot of "American" in it, sorry.
I like the Jeep Grand Cherokee commercial better.

if GM really wants the camaro to take off they need to find a way to make it a little cheaper, within the sticker price of the mustang. i remember looking at an 05 mustang GT (back in 05) with minimal frills. i think the only options it has was power windows locks and the mach 460 sound system and it was going for 24,900.
Now look at the Mustang GT. Starts at 30k, like the Camaro SS.
Camaro is taking off, and beat out the Mustang in sales. Now that Mustang has 0% and some cash on the hood, they are selling out of all thier left over 2010's.

i know the prices have come up but lets face it, the 2012 mustang is going to have the same numbers, the same trans options, and a cheaper price tag.

I think GM shuld have went back to the F-body platform instead of borrowing the GTO platform. IFS is what is driving the price up. if i could get a no frills camaro SS for around or under 28k i would buy it. and so would a lot of other people. now yes they are selling like hot cakes for the most part. lets just remember its first year hype. it what happens next year thats really going to decide the fate of the camaro. GM needs to bring down the price and advertise it. to me the camaro is way more desireable then a mustang...but not everyone can afford that extra 4 or 5 grand
IFS is driving the price up? Camaro has always had IFS. I believe you mean IRS.
You cant get into a bare bones Mustang GT with a solid rear for 28k.
Camaro does not need to be dropped in price. For the equipment you get in the SS, its a great deal.
