3500lbs is gunna be hard without sacraficing the chassis's ability to handle power.
Would you be willing to sacrafice power for weight?
As it stands, the Camaro's chassis is designed to handle up to 600hp without problems.
If you were to say, cut that max power down to 400hp, the car would weigh a lot less...but after 400hp, it would require a lot of weight.
Example is the GT500 vs the GT. If you look at 09 GT, it was a bit over 3500lbs with a 300hp V8. The chassis had a limit of about 400hp, so when the GT500 came about, they had to really step up the chassis's strength to hold the power, and why the GT500 gains 400lbs, on top of that whole supercharged engine deal.
