One thing that Ford offers though is their white chassis Mustangs to private race teams, and Chevy should look into their process if they were to strenghten up the chassis. Ford takes a chassis, scraps off the cauk ( dont think thats spelled right) and weld all the panels instead of tack welds, this makes the chassis much stiffer. You gain road noise, squeeky noises, and possibly a harsher ride, but you know what you've gotten yourself into when buying a car with road racing visioned for it. IMO, 422hp is plenty for a 3500lbs car, it'll help you get to that corner, but its that weight that'll keep it from shooting out quicker. It would be nice to get away form the stereotype that these muscle cars were coming out with are too muscular ( overweight)

It would be like the 1LE package, you know your buying it without some creature comforts for handling capabilities.
