What to do? '78 or '87 ?

So I'm going to be getting $8K pretty soon and I was going to buy LSx and parts for my '87 TA. BUT while searching craigslist for TA's to salvage from I came across a '78 TA (1 of many dream cars) for $6K. Here is the ad details(pictures atchd):
