Real simple. That car definetly has potential but it is not worth $6000. Sure, the blue paint looks OK but not good enough to stay on the car. So that's out. Plus the drivetrain probably needs a complete freshening. If you are serious about it, buy a spot-rot and carefully use it all over the car. That blue paint could be hiding a lot of flaws covered by bondo and crap work.
