So I say, on the 9th anniversary of that horrific day, we put aside those differences and come together, like we did 9yrs ago and TRULY remember what happened and those that lost their lives. I will personally never forget that day, from start to finish, much like everyone else here.

To those that lost their lives, I hope your souls find your resting place and you find peace.

Well said. Out of all the sadness and all the lives lost, something special and magical happened. People were helping each other and had no problem sacrificing their time, body, or life to help those in need. Nobody was standing with their hand out looking for a check or something in return. People did what they had to do, no questions asked.

What I saw is how truly heroic and selfless Americans really are. I was pretty young at the time, but I really saw how America is the best country in the world.
