My company offers a service that will scour the Internet for you and report back on what the "buzz" is about your brand, complete with positive/negative sentiment, week to week buzz comparisions, actual statements and site locations, etc. It is a relatively new product and covers a ton of websites, social media, blogs, microblogs, etc. It looks like it will do exactly what you are looking for on a large scale.
