As long as you keep the shot size reasonable and your nitrous tune up is good you should be fine. Most horror stories you hear about are usually from "user error". I would recommend that you activate your kit with a WOT/microswhitch. Reason I say that is if you ever need to lift out of the throttle the kit will turn off. If you were to use a momentary button, theres the possiblity that you may not let go of the button right away which could lead to a catastrophic engine failure. You may also want to use an rpm window switch.
