which brings me to another question.

What are the music capabilities on your guys' phones?
how many songs can it hold?
can it/do you use a removable memory such as an SD card?
what is the interface like?

i'm the same way, i've always been very good at adapting to things but i felt like that would be too much. i flipped out when they took away the keyboards at work and gave touch screen monitors.

Additionally - what else can you guys say about battery life? idle, heavy usage all day texting/apps/surfing.

and are phones still capable of overcharging?
Believe the Tbolt holds 32GB of data so plenty of room for music (bigger than most ipods/itouch devices). Each phone manufacturer will have a slightly different way of handling music playing, editing, etc. The Tbolt uses an interface similar to an Ipod in some ways (multiple sorting, playlists, other functions). With the phone locked, I can change the volume, pause/play, and select tracks forward and back.

You do not need to remove the SD card to shift music back and forth from the phone as well just like an ipod or other MP3 player. You simply turn it into a USB drive and drag/drop.

Regarding usage, anything using the internet and the network heavily will drain the battery the fastest. Playing games can do the same. Music isn't bad unless you are streaming it over the network. With these large screens, they are usually the battery hog. Normal phone talk and text usage are easy on the battery.
