My 2004 Ram was hit twice before I bought it and once rite after I bought it. A normal person wouldn't have been able to tell. Looked great and drove perfectly straight. None of the accidents deployed air bags. The history of the truck definitely hurt the resale value when i sold it. I never would have sold the truck but my financial situation changed and it needed to go.
You can't really tell how bad an accident was just
by carfax. If your serious about that car I would take it to a mechanic/body shop you trust and have them look it over.
I had a customer who flew to Florida to pick up a Cadillac he bought on EBay. I can't even begin to describe how bad the repair job was. The entire time he kept saying what a great deal he got on the car.
