As already posted,this is a real common problem. You can try running the temp control up/down, and cycling through the bottom, mid, defrost setting.
Pulling the fuse for HVAC alsosometims cure it. Just make sure when you do this you d not touch the controls an let the motos "relearn" the postions.
This seems to fix it for a short time.
FYI,there are some 7 motors under the dash that cntrol the routing and temp, some are easy to get to, other you have to rip the dash apart, and some (like my 2002 trailblazer) the motorswere glued, not screwed in! Making an even bigger project!
