Weight transfer is hard with a 2nd gen with little weight on the rear tires and a long heavy nose. Cal-tracs are helpful, but I always get better times with a full tank of gas hanging as much weight behind the rear tires. Another thing that really helps the 2nd gen even more than other models is free moving front suspension... Del-a-lum control-arm bushings and disconnecting the front sway bar will make a world of difference.
